Thanks for your feedback. The Xbox One is considered Region Free. They removed that side of it, They were going to have Region Locked consoles, but that was one of their better U-Turns. Pal and NTSC were really much of a muchness for the old days of gaming, when resolutions and TV Hz used to be different speed, depending on what country you lived in.

Especially if you owned a SNES, like i did. But there should be no reason now, that either the Xbox One or the PS4 should have any games region locked, as both companies have stated that their consoles are region free. Virtually everything with the new consoles, ensures that you run through HDMI, which is Generic in a sense.

Was this reply helpful? I was looking at the connectors at all the ports at the back and all you see is HDMI. How can this be different around the world? Yeah it's region unlocked and HDMI is pretty much a global standard connector so should be no problems there. I am not sure that has been answered yet. I would be surprised if they were if the games are not and there are region unlocked blu ray drives out there.
