Windows 7 media center dvb-t tuner

Unless a WIndows 7 driver is produced we will not be able to fix the issues.

I havew tried to make contact with Yuan support but no luck yet. I am running Windows 7 Enterprise x I like Media Centre. Instead it blue screens when getting to the first channel it finds during the channel scanning process which will vary, depending where you are, as to when it does that. I hope the workaround will help those who want their express TV card to work, but I like them really would like to be able to use it in Media Centre.

I also have the Yuan EC tuner and windows 7 x64 proffesionnal, and i installed the driver for vista and its working with an alternate tv software like pouchin tv but when i try tu use media center it starts seaching but after one minute it crashes and i have the blue screen of death. I tried to contact yuan about this problem but i never got an answer from them. Saturday, November 14, PM. Sunday, November 22, PM. Hi All To date still no reply from Yuan. I have also tried to contact HP about this and were helpfull untill I told them that I was trying to get it to work with Windows 7.

After that I received no more help with their statement being that they are not updating drivers for these laptops. All others will not. Sorry about the bad news. The only good news is that the current drivers will still work with Quickplay just not Windows 7 Media Centre.

Very frustrating. Thursday, March 4, PM. I believe that we should let manufactures who buy Yuans products like HP know whats going on and ask them to sort this problem out. Cause at the end of the day, although its Yuan's products, it is hp that Brands them and sells them. They should investigate this issue. Saturday, March 6, PM. Tuesday, March 30, AM. I guess it is Hewlett Packard HP that is letting everyone down. I assume they do not want to spend the money to get a Windows 7 driver from Yuan.

NL SilverShadow. I've got a problem with my tv tuner When i start up media center in windows 7 RC, it didn't recognize my tv-tuner. If you have a tuner " wich i, apperently, have " ensure it is installed corretly. The TV-Tuner is recognized by windows, because when i put it on, i hear 'the connection-bleep'.

I am using the most up to date drivers from Windows Update. TV signal is very good, however whenever I first attempt to watch live TV through media center I get a "no signal" error message.

However when I change to another channel, and then change back to the original channel the TV works perfectly. Additionally all scheduled recordings fail with the error message "no tv signal". I don't think this issue is due to the tuner care as I experience the same issue when using my laptop with an expresscard DVB-T tuner. Thanks in advance for any help! This thread is locked.
