This occurred after I installed Service Pack 1 and tried viewing the designer on an existing project. The instance of Visual Studio would gracefully close with the nice Vista fade out and everything. No error, no screeching to a halt, just closed as if I had closed Visual Studio on purpose. Tuesday, September 16, PM. I am currently in the process of installing SP2.
