Borderlands game of the year edition review
Those were my weaker weapons, too, as I had run out of Combat Rifle ammo. Perhaps The Destroyer is more challenging in playthrough 2, but the first is a disappointing pushover.
Improvements to navigation and inventory management remove some of the tedious moments that originally slowed things down, but the changes to the already weak final boss fight make it significantly easier, which is the exact opposite of what it needed. The original looter-shooter didn't need much of an upgrade to be great fun.
Posted April 2, , 10 p. Those with keen eyes may be able to see a difference, but switching between Ultra and High settings on PC seemed like a wash to me.
Played alone the game is fun, and with three like minded players the multiplayer co-op is hilarious, even to the point of challenging each other to duels. The DLC packs are still very good too, and The Zombie Island of Dr Ned still makes me smile to this day, with the evil doctor rocking a brilliant moustache as a disguise. The others are just as hard as before, with the Assassins in The Armoury of General Knoxx still messing me up as efficiently as they did back in the day. All in all then and Borderlands is still Borderlands.
Thankfully it does seem to be limited to the X though, as playing this on my OG launch day Xbox One has seen it perform faultlessly. So, with that in mind, this is going to a qualified conclusion, strangely. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. Learn how your comment data is processed. About Contact Showcase your skills. Amazing game, if you have played the previous version, you will love it because it comes with hd graphics. My favourite game, not that I am much of a gamer. I have completed two playthroughs as Mordecai and all of the downloadable content.
I just My favourite game, not that I am much of a gamer. I just haven't been able to defeat Crawmerax the Invincible. I loved the game so much I have purchased Borderlands 2, I just haven't found the time to play it yet.
I would recommend this game to everyone, young and old alike, and definitely play the DLC if you can, it really expands on the original game and adds great diversity and extra chances to level up quickly. I have only played as Mordecai the Hunter as I love using the sniper rifles, and his pistol play is really fun too. And Mordecai's pet Bloodwing is a real killer when you upgrade.
